Soap fail… or soap maker being way too critical? 😂

I had this whole bar planned out in my head. The fragrance oil was supposed to discolor to a light tan, so instead of fighting it, I decided to work with it.

Charcoal on the bottom, pretty light tan in the middle, creamy uncolored soap on top.

Except “light tan” apparently meant mustardy yellow-tan. 😭

And now I can’t unsee what I THOUGHT this soap was going to look like.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. It smells amazing, it works exactly like it should, and maybe if I hadn’t had a completely different bar pictured in my head, I’d actually love it.

So you tell me…

Is this a soap fail or am I being way too hard on myself? 👇
