FORMAL NOTICE — CREATIVE EXCELLENCE SALON

Creative Excellence Salon and its owner have become the subject of a series of public posts, reviews, comments, and other online activity containing statements that are false, misleading, and/or presented as facts concerning the salon and its owner.

We want to be very clear:

Honest opinions and legitimate customer experiences are welcome. Deliberately spreading false information, making defamatory statements, targeting an individual by name, or encouraging others to participate in an organized effort to damage a person or business is an entirely different matter.

This also applies to individuals who may not have personal knowledge or firsthand experience with the situation but are being encouraged, recruited, or directed to participate by posting, commenting, reviewing, sharing, or otherwise contributing to the campaign.

We will not engage in an online argument, retaliate, or participate in the type of behavior being directed toward us.

We will document it.

Posts, reviews, comments, messages, screenshots, profiles, dates, times, and other relevant communications are being preserved. This includes activity involving individuals who are encouraged or recruited to participate in the conduct.

Where appropriate, the information will be provided to the applicable social media platforms, legal counsel, and/or law enforcement for review and further action.

We are asking that this conduct stop immediately.

If someone has a legitimate concern about Creative Excellence Salon or its owner, we are willing to address factual concerns through the appropriate professional channels. Publicly spreading information that is knowingly false, personally targeting the owner, or encouraging others to participate in harassment is not an appropriate way to resolve a disagreement.

Creative Excellence Salon has worked hard to build its reputation and relationship with our clients and community. We will take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect that reputation and the people behind this business.

We will continue to focus our energy where it belongs — serving our clients, supporting our independent professionals, and providing the professional salon environment our community knows and expects from Creative Excellence Salon.

This is our only public statement on this matter. Further activity will be documented and handled through the appropriate channels.

We will continue to handle legitimate concerns respectfully and privately when appropriate, while removing content that does not meet the standards of a respectful business community.
