✨ So… What Exactly IS a Sound Bath? ✨
If you’ve heard us talking about Sound Baths and thought, “Okay, but what actually happens at one?” This is for you. 🖤
First things first: there is no water involved. 😂
You are not getting in a bathtub. You can keep your clothes on. We promise.
A Sound Bath is an immersive relaxation experience where you simply get comfortable, close your eyes, and allow yourself to be surrounded by sound and vibration.
Using instruments like crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other resonant instruments, different tones and vibrations fill the space around you. Creating an environment designed to help you slow down, quiet some of the noise in your head, and simply be for a little while.
And here’s our favorite part:
You don’t have to be “good” at anything.
You don’t have to know how to meditate.
You don’t have to clear your mind.
You don’t have to understand energy work.
You don’t even have to know what a singing bowl is.
You just show up. Get comfortable. And let yourself experience it.
Some people leave feeling deeply relaxed. Some feel grounded. Some feel emotional. Some accidentally fall asleep. 😴 And some spend the first ten minutes thinking about their grocery list before their brain finally gets the memo that we’re resting now. 😂
There is no “right” way to experience a Sound Bath.
At Aura Light Apothecary, we’re big believers that selfcare doesn’t have to be complicated, intimidating, or perfect. Sometimes it can simply look like giving yourself permission to put everything else down for a little while.
Come as you are.
Get comfortable.
Close your eyes.
And let the sound do the rest. 🖤

✨MEET THE ALCHEMISTS ✨
Something new has been brewing 🌀 at Aura Light Apothecary…
And apparently, she has a personality.😏
Introducing, Bath Alchemy-Botanical Mineral Soaks created to turn an ordinary bath into a ritual.
But these aren’t simply scents.
They’re moods.
They’re personalities.
They’re women you somehow already know.
And our first three Alchemists have arrived.
✨ REVERIE
Honeysuckle + Jasmine
Dreamy. Romantic. A little lost in her own world.
She smells like a summer night and has absolutely no intention of going home early.
She got distracted by something beautiful and forgot to come back.
☀️ LUCENT
Lemon Verbena + Lilac
Bright. Fresh. Suspiciously put together.
Lucent opened every window in the house and decided we’re getting our lives together today.
She’s already watered the plants, answered her emails, and made better choices than the rest of us.
We don’t trust her.
🌙 NOCTURNE
Vetiver + Black Violet
Dark. Earthy. Mysterious.
She walked in wearing velvet at midnight and refused to explain herself.
Don’t ask where she’s been.
She won’t tell you.
The Alchemists are made in small batches, and they won’t always stay.
When one leaves the apothecary, another may take her place. Some may return. Some may disappear for good.
So meet them while they’re here.
The first chapter of Bath Alchemy begins tomorrow.
