For the holidays I made some fun soap bars inspired by the delicious spirits I love to enjoy, produced by .

Adventurous Stills is a local craft distillery in Tempe, Arizona focusing on small batch, super high quality, grain to glass spirits. This means they take the time to produce really delicious wh***eys and other spirits from scratch. I’ve been a club member there for almost 3 years.

The Chocolatey Bourbon Wh***ey soap has a rich musk & masculine scent made with the Peralta Bourbon.

The Cranberry & Fig Cosmo soap has a playful & fruity scent to mimic the Cosmopolitan cocktail using the Picket Post Vodka.

You might ask, why put liquor into a soap bar? I say, why not?! 😉 No major reason, really, other than it’s a fun way to collaborate with the distillery using their awesome spirits in a fun & creative way.

These soap bars are available for purchase at the distillery in the tasting room, you can find them on the top shelf of the merch area. If you enjoy wh***ey, rum, vodka, or gin this craft distillery is a wonderful place to visit. Check them out! ***ey

2 new batches were ready to be cut this weekend 💕 On the left is a special order batch of Honeysuckle Goats Milk & Honey soap bar for and on the right a 7-layer friendship soap called “I got sunshine” inspired by my longtime (25+ yrs) girlfriends and our recent annual girls trip. The “I Got Sunshine”bars are made with triple butter (shea, cocoa, and mango butter) and peony oils. Both are so lovely and smell amazing! Love how they turned out 😻

Order up! 🙌🏼😁 Orange Creamsicle Goats Milk Soap and Cherry Almond Goats Milk soap will be ready for delivery next week. After that I’ll start working on 2 new soaps inspired by the lovely cocktails and spirits from . One soap will be inspired by a wh***ey 🥃 and the other maybe a fun cocktail like a cosmo 🍸. Those soap bars will be sold at the distillery as their swag. Should be a fun collaboration 🤗

Yesterday the sky was 🔥 It was absolutely beautiful 😍. I delivered a special order batch of Creamsicle soap. Customer asked for a citrusy and vanilla/sweet exfoliating goat’s milk soap inspired by a creamsicle. Nailed it 😄 This time of year is the best here in Tempe, I love getting outside and enjoying these beautiful winter sunsets 🧡. 🌵

Happy Friyay! 😁 I’ve been working on some new batches recently just in time for the holidays. I will be selling these bars next week at my office for my lovely coworkers who asked for my soaps to give as holiday gifts. It will be a fun way to introduce them to my passion for crafting and my side hustle- SOAP! 🧼 These smell amazing, gotta love those natural essential oils 🌿.

Taking good care of my skin, more so now than ever before as each year passes. What’s the number one thing I believe you can do for your skin health? (besides sun protection- hats, avoid too much direct sun exposure, find a natural sunscreen you like, etc)...
DRINK WATER! 💧 💧 💧 I work as a registered nurse and the number of people I visit who drink barely any water is kind of staggering. Currently I tell patients to try to drink at least half their body weight in ounces of water. That’s just water, not other fluids. So if you weight 140 lbs, shoot for drinking 70 oz. (this does not apply to people with chronic health conditions who are on fluid restrictions or have fluid overload, etc).
It does make an impact for your organ/internal system health, skin health, and overall well being.

What to do with 3-year-old soap shavings from a previous cold process batch...Turn them into a fun melt and pour project! 😄
This batch of soap has the coconut oil soap shavings set in an olive oil M&P base with jasmine essential oils and a stripe of kaolin clay. It’s pretty awesome how it turned out 😊
