First-Time Wax Client? Tell Them These 4 Things Before Their Appointment ⬇️
✨ 1. How long should my hair be?
Wait at least 2 weeks after shaving before getting waxed. Longer hair is completely okay—we can work with it!
✨ 2. Should I trim before my appointment?
Nope! Please don’t shave or trim beforehand. Leave the hair as it is so your esthetician can get the best results.
✨ 3. Does waxing hurt?
Everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Most clients say it’s quicker and more manageable than they expected, especially with regular waxing.
✨ 4. Can I get waxed if I’m using Accutane or prescription acne medications?
If you’re taking Accutane, you should not be waxed. If you’re using topical prescriptions like Retin-A or tretinoin, facial waxing should also be avoided. Always consult your healthcare provider before booking if you’re unsure.
The more informed your clients are, the more confident they’ll feel walking into their appointment 💜
