Tomorrow, Mega Lash turns 5.
And sitting here writing this from our new space in Arizona, surrounded by boxes, half-built shelves, inventory everywhere, and a warehouse that honestly looks like a complete mess right now... I canโt help but think about where we started.
It is not glamorous over here right now. ๐
But I kind of love that this is what our five-year mark looks like.
Because Mega Lash has never really been about everything looking perfect.
Itโs been about figuring things out.
Listening.
Improving products.
Packing the next order.
Trying again when something doesnโt work.
And continuing to show up.
Five years ago, we were at the very beginning of all of that.
This business has changed so much over the last five years, and life has definitely thrown us a few plot twists along the way. But through every version of Mega Lash, you kept showing up.
And because of that, we get to start this next chapter in Arizona.
Every order, every message, every review, every time youโve recommended Mega Lash to another artist, every time youโve come back to restock... all of that is part of why weโre still here.
And now here we are, five years later, standing in a brand-new warehouse in Arizona after moving our entire business across the country.
The space is still full of boxes. Shelves are still being built. Inventory is slowly finding its new home. Itโs messy, a little chaotic, and very much a work in progress.
But I feel so lucky.
Because five years later, there is still a Mega Lash to move.
There are still orders to pack.
There are still new products we want to create.
And there are still lash artists on the other side of those boxes trusting us with a little piece of their businesses.

Hereโs the difference.
If you apply extensions to a practice lash strip and wash it every day, our adhesive can easily hold for 8 weeks or even longer. But on a real client, retention is a completely different story.
Natural lashes are constantly growing and shedding as part of their normal cycle. On top of that, everyday habits all affect retention, including sleeping on your side, wearing foundation or eye makeup, rubbing your eyes, swimming in chlorinated pools, oily skin, and how well aftercare is followed.
Thatโs why we donโt judge retention by whether every extension is still attached after 8 weeks. Instead, if your client still has 50% or more of their lashes looking beautiful before their refill, thatโs considered excellent retention.
With the right application technique, proper prep, and one of our high-performance adhesives, achieving that level of retention is absolutely possible. ๐
