One Woman Spa

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted.
But here we are… entering fall.
Summer flew by in the blink of an eye, and now we get to watch the colors change and the winds come in.

25 years ago our world changed forever.
I remember that day as a day that for the first time in my life, my mom was elevated from her Air Force reserve career to being on active duty call.
Today I watch documentaries of those who were there and ruminate the emotions they felt.
Today is a day to remember people that just went to work and things changed.
Some survived. Some did not.
It’s almost unimaginable that there’s an entire generation that doesn’t remember because they were babies.
Today let’s reflect and remember those who gave their lives. Whether just a citizen or a first responder.

We remember. We will always remember.

Well another big announcement…
Meet Mia the Spa Dog.
Mia will be joining the team this week as our newest addition.
Her primary job will be to give big love and kisses to clients who would like.
And of course to aid in relaxation during services.
Mia is a working dog breed so she will excel at being part of our spa family. Yes there will be some training time to ensure she is the perfect little lady when clients arrive, but I am excited to have a spa dog again.

With every ebb comes a flow.
I am so sad to see Kassie leave due to some life challenges.
However, her great friend Elizabeth happened to be looking for a new place to call home for her massage business so she will be our new team member.
I’m super excited for her to be a part of the spa.
She is a beautiful kind spirit. (Wya nicer than me 🤣). I look forward to her growing here at the spa.

I hate goodbyes.
Unfortunately they are inevitable in life.
Kassie has had to make the tough decision to leave One Woman Spa.
This was not something she took lightly. This is what is best for her and her family at this time.
I have truly been honored to have her at the spa. She has truly been an awesome addition. We will miss her so so much.
Kassie will be here through the end of August. If you have a massage gift card, now is the time to get in touch redeem it.
