π October Float Notes are here! π Have you ever wondered if you can actually be bad at relaxing? π§
For some people, slowing down comes naturally. For others, it can surprisingly feel like work.
This month weβre looking at why there is no perfect way to float. One session might be deeply introspective, another might bring physical relief, and sometimes you might happily conk out for most of the 90 minutes.
No two floats have to feel the same, and there is certainly no test to pass. Sometimes having a warm, weightless space with nowhere else to be is enough to help us remember how to slow down.

Not every insight arrives while we are actively searching for it.
Floatation therapy creates space for the usual noise and demands to fall away. With less to process and nowhere else to be, the mind is free to wander, settle, and sometimes surface thoughts that were difficult to notice in the middle of everyday life.
Stillness does not always leave us empty. Sometimes it gives what has been beneath the surface a chance to rise. ππ

π§ How often should you visit the Salt Room? There isn't one schedule that fits everyone. Some guests enjoy an occasional session when they need a quiet reset. Others make halotherapy a more regular part of their routine, especially during times of the year when seasonal irritation and congestion tend to show up.
A Salt Room session lasts 45 minutes, making it an easy wellness practice to work into your week without taking over your day.
Start where it feels right for you and see how your body responds. Sometimes consistency is simply about making a little more room to breathe. πΏπ
A little planning can make your session much more comfortable.
A large meal right before floating may leave you feeling too full, while an empty stomach can become its own distraction once everything else gets quiet.
For most guests, a light meal or snack beforehand is a good middle ground so you can settle in without thinking about your stomach.
The goal is simple: arrive comfortable, then let everything else fade into the background. ππ
Thank you so much for the thoughtful review Shawnee. Weβre so happy to have you back as a member, getting your float on and making time for that dedicated reset when you need it. π
Here's Shawnee's full Google review:
"I recently renewed my monthly membership as I had discontinued it for a bit. After my first float I remembered why I needed Stasis in my life. There is really nothing like the feeling of complete calm, peace, relaxation and silence. Float therapy is one of the few things I do just for me and I am so much better for it. I hope you will give it a try at least once. You'll be so glad you did."
Thank you again for sharing your experience Shawnee. Weβll look forward to having you back soon for your next relaxing session. π

π Fall feels great. Seasonal congestion, not so much! This time of year, we often see more guests turning to the Salt Room as part of their wellness routine when allergies are acting up, the seasons are changing, or they simply want a quiet place to slow down and breathe.
Halotherapy is best thought of as a complementary wellness practice rather than a replacement for medical care. And sometimes, 45 peaceful minutes away from everything is a benefit all its own. πΏ
Whether you're coming in for the salt, the stillness, or a little of both, the Salt Room is ready for you. π
Float solution contains a high concentration of Epsom salt, so even a small splash can be uncomfortable if it gets into your eyes while you are wearing contacts.
Forgot your case or solution? No problem. We keep both on hand so you can remove your contacts before floating without adding another thing to worry about.
A comfortable float starts with the little details, and weβve got those covered. ππ

Ninety minutes can feel very different when nothing is asking for your attention.
Inside the float tank, there is nowhere to go, nothing to respond to, and no pressure to be productive. That uninterrupted space gives your body and mind a rare chance to settle, release tension, and simply rest.
Sometimes the reset comes from doing less, long enough to actually feel the difference. ππ

A little salt can make for a refreshing pause! Halotherapy, or dry salt therapy, gives you 45 minutes to settle into our Salt Room, breathe, relax, and step away from the constant pace of the day.
As we move into fall, this is also when many guests start thinking about their respiratory wellness again, especially when seasonal allergies, congestion, and changing weather begin making themselves known.
No preparation needed. Just settle into a chair, get comfortable, and enjoy some quiet time in the salt. π§π
