Suzanne will be returning to work this week, and we’re happy to have her back in the salon ❤️‍🩹 Thank you all for the love and understanding while she took time to be with David. We appreciate the continued kind thoughts and well wishes for their family.

Our hearts are broken to share the passing of David Ulinski, beloved husband of our team member Suzanne.

If you were ever lucky enough to meet him, you know he had the best stories. David lived an interesting and full life—he was a drummer who jammed with some incredible groups, traveled widely, made friends everywhere he went, and loved to cook, especially homemade pasta. He was Polish through and through 🤍

When Suzanne had her surgeries, David cared for her with deep devotion, and Suzanne was able to do the same for him. That time together was meaningful and necessary, and we thank you all for your understanding and support during that season.

Suzanne is a valued part of our work family, and we are holding her and her loved ones close in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

We kindly ask that her privacy be respected as she grieves and transitions into her new normal. On behalf of Suzanne, her family, and all of us at Solstice, we truly appreciate the love, support, and kindness shown by our community.

We wanted to share that Suzanne will be stepping away briefly to be with her family during a very difficult time.

As many of you know, Suzanne has been a part of our salon family for over 30 years. Her husband, David recently was diagnosed with cancer and her time is needed at home with him.
David and Suzanne wanted to share a message with everyone:

“From David and I — thank you all so much for the patience, love, support, prayers, advice, and well wishes you’ve shared with us. We truly feel it, and we need it all right now. Your kindness means everything, and we are so grateful to know we have such caring humans to surrounded us as we go down this path that’s unknown.”

Everyone at Solstice is so touched by the outpouring of kindness, prayers, messages, advice, help and support from her clients and the salon clients. Your compassion has not gone unnoticed, and it truly means more than we can express.

Thank you for surrounding Suzanne with so much love, grace, and understanding during this time. We are deeply grateful for the care you continue to show — not just as clients, but as people, friends and family 💗
