What do you propagate your plants in?

I have a bunch of bottles that I’ve kept out of the recycling or have found at thrift stores that I brought home to put my plants in. This is one of my favorite way for propagation ☺️

Exfoliation is necessary to open the clogged pores of your skin and a scrub goes a long way in meeting the health of your skin.
But with exposure to plastic and synthetic body sponges it is not going to happen as they leach chemicals.
A Loofah is derived from Luffa vegetable, in hindi it is called Turai. This vegetable once it has dried the husk is removed to get hollow sponge with pores which makes the loofah soft once it comes in contact with water.
How cool is that?
One which is natural, made from dried vegetable which otherwise would go to waste, one which meets the needs of your skin and one which biodegrades at the end of life.

Growing up we never saw plastic scrubs or brushes. It was coconut husk from our pooja room, raakh from our chulha and seekh ka jhadoo. It was such an effortless step towards being eco friendly and living sustainable lives. In the last couple of months I have stopped using Scotchbrite or steel wool for cleaning. My housekeeping staff gets me coconut husk from a close-by Shaniwara temple whenever I run out of it. The extra husk is put in my pots to retain moisture in the summers. Bath time, but make it green. And if you spend all your time keeping these plants alive, expand your love and do something for the planet these little guys came from. Cut out one plastic packaged product from your daily routine. It’s so easy! A fun place to start is your self care products, because you can customize them here. Then, you refill them, over & over & over & over. Count how many times we said ‘over’. Maybe that’s how many plastic bottles you save this year. That’s pretty cool. Thank you 😘 📷:
