Cali is KILLING IT, and I need to brag on her for a minute.
In just a couple of short months, I’ve watched her go from saying, “I can’t do nail art,” to creating work that makes you stop and LOOK.
She’s finding her style.
She’s finding her confidence.
She’s finding her voice as an artist.
And every single set, you can see her stepping more and more into who she’s becoming.
But the thing that really sets her apart isn’t just talent.
It’s her hustle.
She has the drive. She’s hungry. She wants to learn. She wants to grow. She wants to build something for herself, and she is willing to WORK for it.
She’s already launched her own pedicure line, she’s building her clientele, she’s pushing herself creatively, and she keeps showing up. That kind of initiative is rare, especially this early on.
And that is exactly why I know she is going to be successful.
Watching her come into herself as an artist has been incredible, because this is exactly why I do what I do.
I love watching people succeed.
I love watching someone go from doubting themselves to realizing what they’re actually capable of.
I love helping people find their confidence, their talent, and their place in this industry.
And I love being even a small part of that growth.
That will never get old for me.
I am SO proud of you, Cali. Keep pushing. Keep creating. Keep believing in yourself.

✨ OPAL & ONYX IS GROWING ✨
We are SO excited to officially welcome Jena Rackley to Opal & Onyx and announce that TATTOOS are coming to the salon. 🖤
Jena will be kicking things off at our Christmas in October event on October 15 from 6–8 PM with flash tattoos available during the event, and we cannot wait for you to meet her.
And that’s just the beginning.
Opal & Onyx is growing into so much more than a nail salon. We’re expanding our services and will soon be bringing in more esthetic services including waxing, facials, lashes and more, giving our clients even more ways to come in, relax, and be taken care of all in one place.
But one of the things we’re most proud of is the community we’re building around the salon.
We love hosting events that bring local businesses and our community together, and we’re especially excited about our Local Edit wall coming soon, a dedicated space inside Opal & Onyx where we’ll feature and promote other local small businesses throughout the year.
Community over competition. Always.
We’ve got so much coming, and we are genuinely excited about what Opal & Onyx is becoming.
