There’s a reason you’ll see us wearing purple on Tuesdays at NOLAS Salon.

We wear it for Christa Bauer Gilley — a mother, daughter, sister, friend, physical therapist, caregiver, and someone whose life touched so many people. Christa was just 38 years old when her life was tragically taken in October 2024. She was also nine weeks pregnant with her third child. 💜

Christa was known for her heart — for caring for others, for her family, her patients, and especially her children. Her loved ones have made it their mission to keep her memory alive and continue seeking justice for Christa and her family.

Purple Tuesdays began as a way for Christa’s friends and supporters to remember her, honor her life, and bring awareness to domestic violence. So every Tuesday, we put on purple and say her name. 💜

And this October, we’re taking that support one step further.
NOLAS Salon is proud to donate West Coast Blondes Purple Shampoo & Conditioner for the October 17th event honoring Christa.

Because this is bigger than a color.
It’s about remembering Christa. Supporting her family. Raising awareness. And refusing to let her be forgotten.
