That’s IN JOY Kids Club.

Beginning September 21, we’re opening our Monday afternoons to two age-specific groups, because what an elementary-aged child needs isn’t necessarily what a middle schooler needs — and we want each group to have a space that feels like theirs.

Mondays • 5:00–6:30 PM

Each group will experience an age-appropriate blend of:

✨ What a magical summer it has been. ✨

Today is our last day of summer camp at IN JOY Kids, and our hearts are incredibly full. 💛

This summer, we danced. We created. We explored. We practiced yoga. We made art. We experimented, wondered, got messy, made friends, slowed down, moved our bodies and laughed—a LOT.

Most importantly, we created a space where children could simply IN JOY being children.

And somewhere in all of that magic, we realized we had created something truly special.

Not just a summer camp.

A one-of-a-kind approach to childhood enrichment.

We’re calling it:

The IN JOY Method intentionally fuses three powerful areas of development:

🔬 STEAM — Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math
💛 SEL — Social & Emotional Learning
🌿 K.I.D.A.R. — the heart of our approach to mindful movement, body awareness, creativity and connection

Instead of treating these as separate pieces, we bring them together through play, movement, exploration, creativity and real-life experiences.

A science experiment can become a lesson in patience.

Yoga can become an opportunity to understand our bodies and emotions.

Art can become self-expression.

Music and movement can build confidence and connection.

A child’s love for a story can unfold into an entire afternoon of reading, imagining, creating and discovering.

Because at IN JOY, we notice what lights up a child, and we give their curiosity room to lead. ✨

That’s the heart of The IN JOY Method.

And while today marks the end of summer camp, the magic we created this summer isn’t ending. It’s evolving.

This fall, The IN JOY Method will continue through our IN JOY Clubs and IN JOY Learning Studio, giving children more opportunities to wonder, create, move, connect, explore and grow.

Tonight our courtyard came alive with laughter, music, and childhood joy.

Children chased bubbles, danced under the twinkle lights, and proudly welcomed visitors to our very first IN JOY Kids Market with their creative vendor booths and lemonade stands. They were absolutely spectacular!

The best part wasn’t just the activities—it was the connections. Families gathered, neighbors met neighbors, and our community came together to celebrate wellness, creativity, and the simple joy of being together.

These are the moments that remind us what IN JOY is all about: creating spaces where childhood is celebrated, families feel welcome, and community grows naturally.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, encouraged our young entrepreneurs, and helped make the evening so special. We already can’t wait for the next one!

Today our young adventurers climbed aboard The Polar Express, slowing down long enough to wonder, imagine, listen, and believe.

At IN JOY Kids, story time is never just about reading a book. It’s an invitation to:

✨ celebrate childhood

Every detail is prepared with love because we believe the environment is part of the experience. Sometimes the greatest learning happens while sitting together on the floor with a beautiful story and a little bit of wonder.

We hope these behind-the-scenes moments remind you that childhood doesn’t have to be rushed. It deserves space to pause, imagine, laugh, and simply be.

Who says Halloween has to wait until October?

Today our studio transformed into a world of imagination where ghosts marched, pumpkins smiled, zombies got a little silly, and childhood came to life.

From our Morning Circle to our cozy Salty Story Sessions in the Himalayan Salt Room, our little readers were completely captivated. Together we spent nearly 90 minutes diving into four wonderful stories:

🪱 There Was a Zombie Who Swallowed a Worm
🎃 Spookley the Square Pumpkin
👻 The Good, The Bad & The Spooky

What made today so magical wasn’t just the costumes.

It was watching children slow down long enough to become fully immersed in a story… to ask questions, laugh together, imagine, pretend, and discover.

After story time, our little characters became firefighters, skeletons, superheroes, ghosts, royalty, and everything in between—proving that play is one of childhood’s greatest teachers.

At IN JOY Kids, we believe books aren’t just read…
They’re experienced.

Because when we blend movement, mindfulness, imaginative play, and meaningful stories, we’re not simply filling a day—we’re helping children build creativity, confidence, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning.

💛 We witnessed something this week that we’ll never forget…

Yesterday, every single child asked if they could take something home to work on.

Today, every single child asked again.

Then, as pickup time arrived, they kept asking:

“Can I stay longer?”

We just smiled.

Because that’s exactly the kind of childhood we hoped to create.

A place where books become adventures.
Where yoga becomes a chance to breathe.
Where science sparks curiosity.
Where art encourages imagination.
Where friendships grow.
Where learning feels so joyful that children don’t want the day to end.

You can’t force a child to love learning.

But you can create an environment where they can’t wait to come back.

This week reminded us why we started IN JOY KIDS in the first place. And our hearts are so full. 💙

As I’ve watched my own son navigate a world that wasn’t designed for the way he experiences it.

It changed me.

It made me realize that behavior is communication… that every child has strengths waiting to be seen… and that sometimes what a child needs most isn’t another consequence—they need an adult who understands or is willing to get down to their level.

That’s why I’m back in school.

I’m currently dual enrolled in Child Mindfulness and Neurodiversity—not to collect certificates, but because every child who walks through our doors deserves someone who keeps learning how to serve them better.

This is the heart behind the IN JOY Method.

I don’t just want children to have fun.

I want them to leave believing:

“I am safe. I am capable. I belong.”

That’s the kind of learning worth pursuing.
