Capt Jay McNamara and Norfolk County Clerk of Court Walter Timilty after running in the Phillips Family Foundation 5k to help support the National Kidney Foundation.

Special thank you to Brockton Fire for lending us Brockton Engine 12 to serve as our front-line engine at Station 2.

We currently have 3 Engines out of service for repairs and are using a backup Engine at Station 1 and the Brockton Engine at Station 2.

These relationships with our surrounding departments allow us to continue providing coverage and responding to our residents while our apparatus are out of service.

We greatly appreciate Brockton Fire for helping us maintain coverage during this time.

Today, Stoughton Firefighters Local 1512 pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice that day, and the thousands of others whose lives were taken alongside them.

In the days, months and years that followed, we learned the stories of the helpers. Firefighters, police officers, first responders and civilians who ran toward danger, carried strangers to safety, guided others through smoke and darkness, and in many cases gave their own lives so someone else might live.

Their courage showed us the very best of humanity on one of our nation’s darkest days.

We will never forget those we lost, those who answered the call, and those whose acts of courage may never be fully known.
