In the 1920s, cutting your hair short could be an act of rebellion. Long hair was what a “respectable” woman was supposed to have… so women cut it off.
The bob became part of a whole new kind of woman. She was working. She was voting. She was going out. She was thinking for herself.
Some hairdressers even refused to cut women’s hair short. So women went to barbershops instead. I love that!
And then, of course, the scandal became style. The bob became chic, iconic…feminine. And it never really went away.
100 years later, I think the bob still has a little rebellion in it. Messy. Imperfect. Razor cut. Bangs or no bangs. There are a million ways to make it your own.

Look at that dimension and shine!
