Here we go

Hello all!! After watching the city council meeting Monday, we can officially announce that we will reopen Friday, May 1st!! We have been in contact with the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering and there will be a lot of changes for us to proceed safely. Please take the time to read the following so we can move forward as smoothly as possible. The safety of our stylists and clients are our top priority.

• First, if you do not feel comfortable coming to your service, that’s ok. We ask that you contact your stylist in a timely manner so they are able reschedule their day.

• If you are running a fever or are not feeling well please reschedule and stay home.

• Please come to your appointment ALONE. Only one person per stylist will be allowed at a time. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you do not have a babysitter please reschedule.

• It is mandatory that you and your stylist wear a mask at all times. You must provide your own mask.

• Upon arriving to the salon, please STAY IN YOUR CAR. Contact your stylist to let them know you’ve arrived. Your stylist will then notify you when they are ready for you to come in.

• Our front door (up the ramp) will be for ENTERING the salon. You will not be able to exit through this door. The EXIT will be located through the west door. This will not be able to be used to enter the salon.

We want to thank you all for your patience and support. You should be hearing from you stylist soon. Please continue to be patient with us all while we try to schedule your appointments. We have missed you and can’t wait to see you all!!

So the governor announced yesterday that some salons can reopen this Friday ... although our mayor has said for our safety and yours we will wait for the original May 1st date to reopen salons in Stillwater .

{The number of people allowed
in the salon is limited to 10.}
•
Those of you that frequent Wavelengths know that we have 7 stylists separated in different rooms so we want to keep it to a minimum and follow CDC guidelines.

If you have a mask please wear it while in the salon!😷 it is required by our State Board!
•
We will be doing our best to get
each of you back into the salon
in a timely manner, So We are
asking for your patience ❤️

Being limited on the number of
people we can have in salon, we
ask that you don’t bring any
extra guests with you to your appointment. Instead of waiting in our waiting area, please text or call to let us know
you have arrived to give us the
adequate time needed to properly
sanitize our work station, we will let
you know when we are ready for
you to come in! 😉

❤️ When we reopen we will be by appointment only for quite a while. Walk-ins will not be allowed until the virus is under control. Sorry if this inconveniences anybody. You can always CALL 405-377-9292 and talk with a Stylist to see if they are willing to take you if you don’t have an established relationship with one already. For those of you who are waiting to be rebooked, please be patient with us, we are doing our best to figure out what is going on and get you guys taken care of ❤️

Statement from the City Manager Norman McNickle in response to Gov. Stitt's April 22 Press Conference

Regardless of what Governor Kevin Stitt said at his April 22 press conference, Stillwater will follow its existing Emergency Proclamation, which includes the shelter-in-place order that ends April 30. There are ongoing discussions with local officials about reopening businesses and services. Stillwater City Council will discuss the issue at its next meeting April 27. City officials did not receive advanced notification of the Governor’s intentions.
