Anyone who knows me knows that I’m personally not a fan of country music - but Dolly was an exception - that and the fact that she wrote so many of the songs we know although we probably don’t even recognize that she was the composer.

Her song “9 to 5” is one of my absolute favorites and as I grew the Dragonfly Esthetics, it was something I would sing for motivation & inspiration. I made a promise to myself to not let any of my employees feel that way about working for me. (Fingers crossed they still don’t 😂)

She was also an avid philanthropist - donating millions during her lifetime to those in need in her local community of Tennessee, but also far beyond that.

She was someone who truly gave a crap about bettering the lives of those around her & lending a helping hand to those in need. She would see a need for something and because she was able to do something, she did.

In today’s day and age where greed & wealth have taken the drivers seat, Dolly remained one of those who actually did what she said she would do & went far beyond that. Her humble beginnings were not abandoned as her fame grew & that is shown through the work she has left behind.

Idk man. I realize the irony in posting an “it’s so chic” trend whilst also literally being so annoyed with all the ‘trends’
So I did this lash lift & tint today on my super sweet client and we had such a great discussion during her session.

It really just makes me so grateful to be in the position I am where I can do my job, connect with my clients, and post some good before and afters + gain another client or 2 **hopefully**

So ya… I’m totally using this trend to bump my algorithm while simultaneously saying I dislike trends. Let’s see if this one gets any traction 🤞🤞

🌱some updates for you babes! 🌱

Our expenses have continued to rise over the past 2 years and we have pushed this back for as long as we can - but in order to continue to provide the services we do, we will be implementing a slight price increase on some of our services.

This will go into affect on September 8th, and most services will not increase more than $5. Some services will not increase at all! Our facial prices have remained the same for over 3 years - so this has been long overdue!

In addition to our price increase, we are updating our Cancelation policy to require a 48 hour confirmation. As we understand these things happen, the 50% charge will be applied to your rescheduled service within 30 days. If the appt is rescheduled or cancelled again, the fee will no longer be applicable.
All no shows will be charged 99% and the client will be blocked from rebooking.

Rescheduling appointments 3x will require a 50% deposit.
Rescheduling again will result in loss of deposit.

As we transition to these new policies, we wanted reiterate that we so appreciate all of our clients and their time spent with us! These policies are put in place to keep our business running smoothly & efficiently for both our estheticians and our guests.

Our availability is most limited on nights and weekends & it is crucial that those who book with us prioritize that time as we do for our guests.
