✨ Helping you feel like that girl again—from the inside out.
August is Hair Loss Awareness Month, and I wanted to run this one back because somebody may need to see it.
Hair loss is something a lot of women deal with quietly. You learn how to cover it, style around it and sometimes you just stop talking about it.
But you don’t have to suffer in silence.
There is help out here, and there are options.
The One-Year Detachable Sew-In™ you see in this video is one of those options. It can give you coverage and allow you to wear your hair with confidence, while still giving us access to your natural hair and scalp so we can care for what’s underneath.
And that’s important to me.
We’re not just covering hair loss. We still have to care for the hair and scalp underneath.
Every person’s hair loss is different, so this may not be the right option for everyone. The first step is finding out what’s going on and learning what options are right for you.
So if you’ve been dealing with hair loss quietly, please know this:
There is help. There are options. There is hope. ❤️
Helping women feel like that girl again, from the inside out.
DON’T SLEEP ON THESE LITTLE SEEDS 👀🌱
Y’all see me over here eating these sprouted pumpkin seeds like it’s nothing. 😂 But let me tell you WHY I keep them around.
We talk so much about what we put ON our hair. Shampoo. Oils. Serums. Treatments.
But what are we putting IN our body?
Sprouted pumpkin seeds have zinc, magnesium, protein, iron and healthy fats. Nutrients your body uses to support healthy hair, your scalp and your overall wellness.
Here’s your little nugget for today:
🌱 Zinc supports normal hair growth and scalp health.
🌱 Protein gives your body amino acids it needs to make keratin, which your hair is made of.
🌱 Iron helps carry oxygen throughout the body.
🌱 Magnesium supports your muscles, nerves and energy.
🌱 Healthy fats support your skin and scalp too.
Now why sprouted?
Sprouting can reduce some of the natural phytates in seeds, which may help your body access certain minerals.
🌱 CHE READY™ WELLNESS TIP — SAVE THIS
Next time you’re at the grocery store, look for:
✓ Sprouted pumpkin seeds
✓ Unsalted or lightly salted
✓ Little to no added oil or sugar
About ¼ cup makes an easy snack. Eat them just like I’m doing, or add them to yogurt, oatmeal or a salad.
Are pumpkin seeds some magic hair-growth cure? No.
But your hair needs nutrients too.
Sometimes we’re so busy looking for the next product that we forget to look at what’s on our plate.
Hair. Scalp. Body. Mind. It ALL connects. 🌱
SAVE this for your next grocery run.
And tell me 👇🏾 Have you ever tried sprouted pumpkin seeds?
The more you know, the more you grow. 💚

Sometimes the best therapy isn’t another podcast or another scroll…
It’s a walk.
Today I unplugged, listened to nature, and found a peace I didn’t know I needed. If life has been feeling heavy, this is your reminder to step outside, breathe deeply, and let your mind rest.
The earth has a way of reminding us that healing starts one step at a time.
Walk with Che. 🌿
🎬✨ One day they’ll ask, “How did the Che Shake start?”
It started with healthy hair, happy clients, and a simple moment that turned into a movement.
Every time my clients leave my chair feeling confident, healthy, and beautiful, I smile and say…
✨ “Do the Che Shake! Do the Che Shake! Turn around and do the Che Shake! You like your hair?” ✨
And they always answer…
❤️ “I do!” ❤️
The Che Shake isn’t just about showing off your hair. It’s about celebrating healthy hair, confidence, and feeling like that girl again from the inside out.
Who knows… maybe one day this little salon tradition will have its own documentary. Until then, we’re just going to keep shaking. 💃🏽

✨ Wisdom Wednesday ✨
“I wanna know…” and that’s exactly where growth begins.
Sometimes burnout isn’t a sign to quit… it’s a sign to reset.
Yesterday reminded me why I fell in love with doing hair in the first place. I’ve been so focused on trichology, healthy hair, and prevention that I realized I needed to pour back into the creative side of me too.
One thing that really stayed with me was theory before technique. Healthy hair starts with understanding the hair before applying the technique. When you understand the why, your technique has purpose, and the integrity of the hair always comes first.
This class reminded me that no matter where you are in your journey, there’s always something new to learn. Stay curious. Keep growing. Don’t let burnout convince you to stop doing what you love.
I’m leaving this week refreshed, inspired, and excited to bring these techniques back to the salon because healthy hair will always come first.

Most people think coffee is only for their morning cup…
But your scalp may enjoy it too. ☕✨
Here’s a simple DIY Coffee Scalp Rinse you can try at home.
☕ DIY Coffee Scalp Rinse
✨ What you’ll need:
• 1 cup organic brewed coffee (cooled)
• Optional: 2–3 drops of rosemary essential oil
✨ Directions:
✔️ Shampoo your hair first.
✔️ Pour the cooled coffee over your scalp.
✔️ Massage for 2–3 minutes.
✔️ Leave it on for 10–15 minutes.
✔️ Rinse with cool water and follow with your favorite conditioner.
Why coffee?
☕ Rich in antioxidants that help protect the scalp.
☕ Caffeine has been studied for its potential to support healthy hair follicles.
☕ May help improve the appearance of scalp circulation.
☕ Helps refresh the scalp while leaving hair feeling softer and looking shinier.
One thing I always remind my clients…
A coffee rinse is a great addition to your hair care routine, but it isn’t a cure for hair loss. Healthy hair starts by finding the root cause. Hormones, stress, nutrition, inflammation, gut health, and scalp conditions all play a role in healthy hair growth.
💛 Save this post for your next shampoo day and share it with someone who loves healthy hair!
👇🏾 Have you ever tried coffee on your hair? I’d love to hear your experience.
⚠️ Hair Tip: If your hair is blonde, gray, platinum, highlighted, or color-treated, coffee may temporarily stain lighter hair. Always do a strand test before applying it to your entire head.
✨ Don’t nobody make me feel like I need another masterclass… until I attend one like this! ✨
What an amazing weekend! My mind is full, my heart is full, and I honestly wanted more. The IAHM Medical Trichology Masterclass was everything and then some. The amount of knowledge that was poured into us was incredible—I couldn’t take it all in fast enough.
Beyond the education, I met some amazing people who encouraged me, inspired me, and reminded me to keep walking in my purpose. Those conversations were just as valuable as the class itself.
A huge thank you to Dr. Niccolò Rivetti, Martina Candido, Kimberly Jenkins, Bauman Institute, and everyone involved in creating such a beautiful experience. I am truly grateful for the knowledge, connections, and memories made this weekend. ❤️✨

🚨YOUR PART IS TELLING ON YOU…
👀ARE YOU LISTENING?
Take a look at your part.
Does it seem wider than it used to be?
Are you seeing more scalp in your pictures?
Does your hair feel thinner or less full than it did a year ago?
If so, don’t ignore it.
A widening part is often one of the first signs of hair thinning.
The thing is, hair loss is usually not the problem—it’s the symptom.
Your hair may be trying to tell you that something deeper is going on.
Some common causes include:
✨ Stress and elevated cortisol levels
✨ Hormonal changes and imbalances
✨ Nutrient deficiencies
✨ Poor gut health and absorption issues
✨ Scalp inflammation
✨ Genetics
✨ Certain medications or health conditions
One of the biggest things I see in my practice is nutrient deficiencies.
Everybody wants healthy hair, but many people are missing key nutrients their body needs to support healthy hair growth.
💡 Did you know your hair is one of the last places your body sends nutrients?
When your body is depleted, your hair is often one of the first places to show it.
That’s why healthy hair starts from within.
At Che Salon, we don’t just look at your hair—we look at the whole picture.
Through our Hair & Scalp Analysis and BioScan Consultation, we help identify possible imbalances and create a personalized plan for your hair, scalp, and overall wellness.
💚 Let’s stop guessing and start getting to the root of the cause.
