I want to preface this. We are at a point where my business is not separate from my morals. They have never been and my clients ALL know that. You are safe in my salon. I do not threaten people, I do not lie, and I do not devalue human life. And I make it clear that everyone who steps through my doors is safe, I am a huge safe space in this community and will continue to be so.
But we have someone who just followed me that needs a welcome. She was laughing a couple weeks ago on a post about small businesses trying to keep ICE out. And when I asked her why as a healthcare provider it was funny, she accused me of advocating for Charlie Kirk's murder. And so, being a patient at the several organizations on her profile, I reported her to them. She then went on her own profile and played the victim without telling what she actually did. Gathered a nice crowd. And this morning I woke up to her following me on this page and a private review on mine with a blatant lie on it. I know several of you on here are Republicans. I have no problems with you, and you know that.
So, Tressie Cline come on down. Welcome. Let's chat.
If you would like to deal with WHY I actually reported you to your employers-- let's do it publicly. Because I don't have any reason to hide what happened. You do. You even lied on your page about it. It's NOT because of your initial comment, and it's NOT, because you are a Republican. Which is laughable. It's because you were laugh reacting small business owners simply trying to keep ICE out of their businesses-- because they ARE NOT acting within the law and under the Constitution. They are murdering citizens without due process. And you were making jokes and laughing. People are scared. And when I asked why as a nurse you are laughing at a situation where people are scared of dying you baselessly accused me of advocating for the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Which not only had nothing to do with the subject at hand but shows you can't even take responsibility for the things you say, so you accused me, a disabled veteran who has lost the lives of so many people within the last year of disvaluing life the point that I would advocate for it. THAT is defamation. I am a patient at multiple organizations you have posted. I am definitely not safe any place you work. And I notified the people responsible for putting me and other patients affected by your laughing about ICE in your care. Simple. I didn't defame you, I outed your own bad behavior to the people who need to know how you actually treat other humans. And it doesn't matter whether you think you aren't biased-- you are biased enough to make up an entire backstory for someone you don't know and accuse them of foul things. THAT IS WHY you got reported. Your own behavior. You are clearly biased, petty and are going to try to get at me any way you can. And that behavior is not going to magically stop when you walk into work. The type of person you are doesn't change because you walked through a doorway with medical symbols on it.
If you want to talk to me about it. Tag me next time. And remember to TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH NEXT TIME, TOO. Or reply on the post you decided to tell me I advocate for murder on. I'm not the one laugh reacting people dying. You can go to my business page and make things up (by the way, this is private. No one can see this review but me) so going to leave a review to my business-- you didn't even go to Google, because if you had I would have put this there as well. Along with the screenshots that are going up here.
Take responsibility for your own behavior. I am not ashamed of reporting you. I'm actually going to send your review in to the places that told me to keep them updated on your behavior towards me after reporting you. Because it's pretty telling that you going to a business you have never been to and leave a review because you actually defamed ME. It's actually pretty indicative that I'm not safe from you and you are clearly not unbiased. You've made up things about me and are still posting them. You have gathered a crowd on your page based on you lying about what happened. And I hope that makes you feel better. Because I don't have anything to be ashamed of.
I'll leave you with a verse that strikes me right now. Because I'm not operating in the darkness. I told you I was reporting you before I did it. You just don't like your own dark behavior coming to light. Take a step back and ask why you cannot just take responsibility for your own actions instead of continually lashing out at a stranger for asking you for clarity about them.
"For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open."
Luke 8:17
You can block me, but you still have to live with your own behavior and how you treat others. And I sincerely hope that you reflect on that. Because no one deserves to be laughed at while in fear for their safety, and no one should have to wonder if they are safe in your care.
Not a SINGLE client of mine wonders about their safety. They know I wouldn't think twice about taking a bullet for them. In fact, I already signed up for that with Uncle Sam. The proof is in the pudding. You cannot talk and run your mouth into being a safe space or a safe person. IT IS SHOWN BY YOUR ACTIONS AND HOW YOU TREAT OTHERS.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Grieme-Loman

A friend just sent this to me-- I didn't win, but along with another stylist in my building (shout out to Chris, I love her, she is so sweet) I was a finalist. I didn't even know this was happening. Y'all surprise me every day. Damn, I love every single one of you. It's an honor to even be ON this list. It means I'm doing something right. 🥹

Happy Thanksgiving. I will not be working Black Friday or Small Business Saturday this year, nor will I be running any sales. I will instead be spending the time with my family at the farm and visiting my dad's grave. I hope you all have a good time with your families and friends. Take the time to tell those you love that you are grateful for them. I am definitely thankful for each one of you-- I would be nothing in this business without every client that comes in and brightens my doorstep. Thank you all for the opportunity to share my artwork with this town. And thank you for being more than butts in my chair. I know I am a safe space for so many in town but so many of you have listened and held space for me while I have cried this year and held me up when I didn't think I would be able to come back. Those of you who came to my dad's funeral-- I'll never forget that. I cherish you all. 💓

The most important veteran in my life. I am a 3rd generation veteran on both sides of my family. But on my dad's-- I didn't even know that my Grandpa, Carroll Grieme ran his motor pool in the US Army, too. He died when Dad was two. Dad was a 92Y and I was 92A. I was re-classing to that slot to run Supply before I got my pacemaker (let's be honest, I worked in that job helping that NCO years before they put me there, too) but we were both in the Quartermaster Corps. My dad was so proud of me. I never wore anything with any Army signifiers on it. I knew he loved to point at me and tell the waitress at IHOP that I got the free Red, White and Blue pancakes, too. Even though I hate fruit and always ask for that on the side. I don't have anyone to do that anymore. I have to wear my stupid Army shirt that's now huge on me. I made myself tea this morning bc I didn't want to go to Mel-O-Cream and burst into tears while ordering my free donut. We went to Pizza Ranch last year and my toes were broken-- dad made fun of me because we both were in boots. He said now people could sees that I'm disabled and they wouldn't question my parking. If I would have known we wouldn't have this year... I know he was proud of me but I am just really proud to be a chosen part of a line of generous, kind men. My grandfather died literally saving the lives of other people. He selflessly drove his large truck hauling bricks off an a bridge into an embankment so that another couple would not be hit head on because another driver tried to overtake him in a high way lane on a bridge. My dad was one of the most kindhearted, generous men I knew. I don't remember him ever saying no. My dad would have give me the world had I just asked for it. And all I want now is just a few more minutes. I miss you, Dad. Happy Veteran's Day. 🇺🇸

Be sure to book your appointments before the Holiday!

I will not be working on Black Friday or Cyber Saturday like I usually am. My Dad's birthday falls on the Thanksgiving holiday so I am taking that time for my family this year. Take time and thankful for those you still have with you-- you truly never know. I have experienced more loss this year than I have in over 20 years. Quite possibly my whole life. Hold your loved ones tight and love them hard 🤍
