Holly Rose Skincare

If you know me at all, you'll know that I DO NOT like sweating or being hot!! So when my Friend Madison Hamilton told me she was teaching a Yoga Sculpt Lite class at Ahh Yoga (I call B.S. on the LITE btw), I had to SERIOUSLY consider how close of friends we are and if I was ready to be sore and die the next day!!👀😬🤣🤣

I went...I died in the back row...Ive never sweated so hard to Ludacris & Nicki Minaj (ok maybe in my 20s on a Sat night😉👌🏾) but I felt AMAZING after....Proud of myself is an understatement!! I honestly haven't worked out that hard since before Bryson👀😬😬😬!!

If you need a push, this is it!! GO TO THIS CLASS!!
👀Even if you're in the last row, 👀Even if you're out of shape, 👀Even if you hate sweating 👋🏾

Just do it!! And then tell me so i can be proud along with you and go to her next one together!!

Now , how to Not Break Out after working out:

👋🏾Keep Face Wipes in the car for right after!!
👋🏾Use glycolic in your ingredients when you can
👋🏾For Body acne, change out of wet clothes ASAP

Now Book this Class and Thank me later!

I heard that Today(or was it yesterday) 🤷🏾‍♀️was World Retina Day and wow did I learn more than I EVER wanted to know about my retinas this year🤣🤣

Quick Facts (from me):

1) The signs of a detachment don't scream and are not loud at all, you will probably miss them for a while! -Retinas do not have pain receptors 👀

2) your BRAIN is insanely smart and fills in the gaps in your vision so again it takes awhile to notice something wrong because your brain works really hard to right any "wrong" images!!

3) Do Not take your ability to do your favorite Hobby for Granted!! Reading my Freida McFadden books is getting harder every day but Im a reader so I'll struggle through until we have to get..ahem...LARGE PRINT BOOKS

4) Most ppl don't look like what their "disability"/silent ailment is...I hear that "you can't even tell, you look great after an eye surgery "alot but my damage is on the inside so you won't see it...😉❤️

Now go READ a book, Walk outside, Enjoy wearing mascara and tell your brain thank you!!
Happy World Retina Day Beauties 🌏

September is su***de Awareness Month and this hits home for my family....I know it's considered a word we don't say or something people don't talk about but we have to say it and "undirty" it by erasing the stigma around su***de and changing how we view it!

It can happen to your family in a heartbeat and often does when we(family and friends) aren't looking for it ...Holly Rose Skincare is a safe space for all and I'm so lucky to have women that bear their hearts to me when needed and I do my best to listen , love and support!

This month and EVERY month:

Know that you are needed

Know that you are loved

Know that you belong Here 💕
