Here are the seven commonly taught face shapes and a little styling tip for each:

💛 Oval: Try different lengths and parts many styles complement these proportions.
💛 Round: Longer layers and height at the crown can create a more elongated look.
💛 Square: Soft waves and wispy layers can soften the appearance of an angular jawline.
💛 Heart: Chin-length layers or fullness around the jaw can balance a wider forehead.
💛 Diamond: Soft bangs and fullness near the forehead and chin can balance prominent cheekbones.
💛 Oblong/Rectangular: Side volume and bangs can balance a longer face.
💛 Triangle/Pear: Volume at the crown and temples can balance a wider jawline.
