From the heart + soul behind the aesthetic refinery… this one hurts. 🤎

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close the aesthetic refinery | skin + beauty bar.

I poured so much of myself into this business. It was something I dreamed about, built from the ground up, and I’m incredibly proud of what I created.

To every client who sat in my chair, trusted me, shared my posts, referred a friend, left a review, or simply cheered me on — thank you. 🤎 You gave me the opportunity to build something that was mine, and I’ll always be grateful.

Sometimes you can love something, work incredibly hard for it, and still have to make a decision you never thought you’d have to make. This is the decision I need to make for myself and my future.

I’m not closing the door on the beauty industry completely. I’m still a licensed esthetician, and I may offer select services differently in the future.

I’m also continuing my tattoo apprenticeship and working toward becoming a licensed tattoo artist. 🖤 Come follow this next chapter at Michel | Tattoo apprentice

If you currently have an appointment booked, I’ll be reaching out individually. I can take some clients for the next few weeks, so if you have been putting it off please come see me 🫶🏽

PLEASE stop no-showing your beauty girls and canceling at the last minute. 🖤

Behind every appointment is a small business owner who prepared for you and counted on that income. When you no-show or cancel last minute, that spot often can’t be filled. That income is simply gone.

Life happens. Emergencies happen. But please communicate and respect your beauty girl’s time the same way you’d want yours respected. Sometimes one appointment really does make a difference.
