💈 COMPETITION RULES — KNOW BEFORE YOU COMPETE! 🏆
Planning to compete at the Elite Barber Battle – South LA Edition? Make sure you understand the rules before stepping onto the competition floor!
✂️ You must have a model physically present with you.
🎟️ Your model receives FREE admission with your competition ticket and must check in with you.
👤 You may find a model at the event, but availability is not guaranteed.
🚫 Models cannot be pre-cut, lined up, faded, tapered, shaped or prepped in any way before the competition.
📏 Models must have at least two weeks of visible hair growth.
🎨 Enhancements, color and hairpieces are allowed.
🧰 Competitors must provide their own tools, products, chargers and equipment.
🚫 Assistants are not permitted.
🎧 Headphones are not permitted during the competition.
💡 Ring lights and standing lights are not allowed. Wearable headlamp-style lights are permitted.
✅ All competitors and their models must be checked in no later than 3:15 PM. Late arrivals may lose their competition spot if they are not checked in on time.
🏆 Competitors and their models must remain at the event until after the results and awards ceremony are completed.
Failure to follow the competition rules may result in point deductions or disqualification.
Come prepared, bring your best work and leave everything on the competition floor! 🔥
