No one needs makeup. At 25, 45, or 60.

I do it because I love what happens when someone looks in the mirror and feels confident, NOT because they needed to be “fixed,” but because they were reminded of what was already there.
You don’t need makeup. But if it makes you feel good, wear the hell out of it.

During her appointment, Jenn was clear about her vision: she loves rich tones, but is not a a regular makeup wearer.

💄We found the perfect balance between the rich tones that were very much a part of her brand/personality, without feeling too made up. Adding color doesn’t always have to mean bold makeup. Sometimes, it just a matter of finding the right shades that compliment our hair color/features/overall aesthetic and proper placement so it doesn’t feel overwhelming.

When I saw Jenn’s photos, her overall brand made so much sense to me! (This space and the Walter’s Gallery are both familiar locations - as a previous Baltimore resident - and the perfect addition to overall vibe of her brand)

ML was attending her brother’s out of state wedding and wanted to be able to create a look that was a bit more glam than her daily routine, while still looking like herself. When she came in for her lesson, we focused on techniques that she could replicate on her own (+ false lashes of course!11) without sacrificing her naturally beautiful features.

She nailed it 💄!

I spent many weekends at The Line Hotel for weddings since they opened in 2017. This was my first visit back since 2023 (my last solo wedding as a bridal makeup freelancer) and it was for a much different reason. The small group was in town for a short visit, and wanted to squeeze in a lesson, and honestly…hotel rooms lessons should DEFINITELY be more of a thing.
