Five years ago, I took a leap of faith with nothing but a dream, a treatment bed, and the determination to create something bigger than myself.

Today, KKay Beauty turns 5 years old 🤍
These five years have tested me in every possible way. I’ve celebrated incredible wins, questioned myself more times than I can count, cried in empty treatment rooms, doubted whether I was good enough, invested every dollar back into my business, and kept showing up—even when it would’ve been easier to quit.

I built this business while raising my babies, navigating life as a single mom, and refusing to let my circumstances define my future.

What started as a small skincare studio has grown into KKay Beauty Studios & Academy—a place where I not only help transform skin but also educate and empower other beauty professionals to build the careers they dream of.

This year has been especially emotional. Losing my dad changed me forever, and there has been moments I didn’t know how I was going to keep moving forward. But I carried his strength with me every single day. I’m sure he’s looking down today thinking, “Mija, lo lograste.” 🤍

To every single client who trusted me with your skin…
To every student who chose to learn from me…
To everyone who has shared a post, referred a friend, or believed in my vision…
