Guidelines for reopening

Mandated by state of NJ
And NJ state board of cosmetology

Upon arriving for your appointment text 732-530-6763 provide your first and last name
and stylist name for check in. Please remain in your car; you will be notified when you may enter for the appointment.

Our styling chairs are social distanced 6ft apart, 4 stylists, 4 guests, and 2 support staff for a total capacity of 10 in the salon at one time.

Maintain social distance from others.

Stylists can only service one guest at a time to their appointment duration before accepting their next scheduled appointment. Chairs, stations, tools to be cleaned sanitized and disinfected between appointments.

Appointment only no walk ins at this time.

Please arrive alone for your appointment.

Waiting area is temporally unavailable to guests, temporally no magazines available at this time.

Condiments coffee, water etc. temporally suspended

Bring you own nourishment water, coffee etc.

Bring essentials only: keys, phone, and payment

Face coverings to be worn by guests while in the salon and during their appointment also by all staff.
If you arrive without a face covering a disposable mask will provided for you at $1.00 cost

Your temperature will be taken, if temp is 100.4 or higher guest will have to reschedule the appointment in fourteen days.

If you are not feeling well please stay home.

Sanitize hands at our sanitizing station or wash hands for 20 seconds if able to access the restroom.
There are hands sanitizers all through out the salon feel free to use then as often as you like.

Changing room temporally closed each guest will receive a clean sanitized robe enclosed in plastic bag to go over their clothing.

Payments: credit cards only no cash or checks accepted at this time.

Tipping: by credit card through our Tippy Kiosk is available, if you prefer to tip in cash please bring the appropriate denomination, as we will not be handling any cash.

Retail: please do not handle retail, ask and we will be more than happy to retrieve your retail product for you.

We know our guests expect the highest standards and providing quality customer service while keeping our guests and staff as safe as possible.

We are committed to providing that even at this most challenging time.

To all our beautiful clients:
we’re super excited to see everyone now that the governor is allowing salons to open. We still have to figure out what schedules are going to look like with the new guidelines before we start booking appointments.
Please allow us a couple of days to set everything in motion. Updates coming soon.

Dear guests,

After careful thought and consideration between staff and management, Michael Joseph Hair Studio will close as of Tuesday March 17th through March 31st.
Per the CDC’s guidelines we want to protect our guests, staff and community by social distancing for the period mentioned above.
We appreciate all our guests and wish all to stay safe and healthy.
Michael Joseph Hair Studio will reassess the reopening date and reach out to reschedule all appointments.
