Bertresea Annette Evans (BAE) has been in the medical field for 30+ and is a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition, she is pursuing her doctoral degree. Her philosophy is to treat the whole person – which means treating the mind, body, and spirit. It also aims to heal the root cause of an illness, not just stop the symptoms. Evans’ goal is to encourage and educate communities on the importance of making small steps now to have a better quality of life later. Small changes can make a tremendous impact on whether you live life to the fullest or if you exist. Having suffered for 28+ years with complications associated with using feminine sanitary pads and personal hygiene products led her to search for healthier alternatives. After several years and many long hours of research, Lotus Elite personal hygiene products and Lotus by BAE Elite Sanitary Pads were created. The vulnerability of a person’s health should not be intensified from chemical exposure with the daily use of personal hygiene products. Our purpose is to promote ongoing education to enlighten our communities about healthier menstrual choices of feminine products. We will break the cycle of shame and silence by teaching and supporting users UNIQUELY.
