We see you. We hear you. And we promise your secrets are safe with us. 🤫

Whether you’re “just browsing,” running out of wall space, or buying a gift that mysteriously ends up staying at your house, we’ve heard it all. And we fully support your decisions.

Around here, we believe there’s always room for one more piece of art, a little something for yourself, and finally framing that thing that’s been sitting in your closet for a decade.

No judgment. Just really good taste (and maybe a little encouragement). 😉

Which slide called you out? Tell us in the comments!

We’re adding to our team at 318 Art & Frame.

If you love Louisiana art, genuinely enjoy talking to people, and have ever said “you should get it” while shopping with a friend, we may have a job for you.

We’re looking for a full-time Art Gallery Sales Associate to help with customers, sales, merchandising, inventory, events, and all the little things that keep a small gallery moving.

You do not need to be an art expert. We can teach you the art. We’re more interested in someone who is warm, dependable, organized, curious, and comfortable helping people make a purchase.

Interested? Send your resume and a short note to [email protected].

And if someone immediately came to mind while reading this, send it to them.

An artist takes a chance on being seen. Last night, you showed Ted why it’s worth it.

You filled 318 Art & Frame for the opening of Ted Bertrand’s Louisiana’s Fragile Beauty, and what a beautiful night it was. Three original paintings found homes, along with many of the decor pieces we created from his work. If you’d like to see which originals sold, we’ll post their pictures in the comments.

The collection will remain on display throughout October or until it sells out. We had so much fun adding red dots to the art signage: 🛑 SOLD! If you had your eye on a piece, message us or stop by. We’d love to help you bring it home.

What made the evening so meaningful was watching you connect with Ted and his paintings. These wetlands, cypress bayous, shrimp boats, and birds belong to a Louisiana we know and love. Through his work, Ted gives us another way to hold on to it… whether through an original painting or a decor piece that becomes part of everyday life.

To everyone who came, thank you. You made time for Louisiana art and for the person behind it. Every conversation, thoughtful look at a painting, and piece you chose to take home helped make this collection feel welcomed.

I also want to thank our incredible staff and my husband. This exhibition and opening night would not have been possible without everyone working together to bring such a high-touch art production to life while keeping the gallery running throughout the week. From planning and preparation to installation, hospitality, details, and everything behind the scenes, so many people gave their time, energy, and care. I’m deeply grateful for the way everyone stepped up to make the evening so special.

As a gallery owner, I get to see the work that happens before a night like this. Watching an artist receive that kind of response from our community is something I never take for granted.

Ted gave us Louisiana’s Fragile Beauty. You gave him a night to remember.
