For 28 years, Karl Bushby has been chasing a goal that once seemed impossible: 🌍

Since 1998, the former British paratrooper has crossed scorching deserts, dense jungles, frozen seas and some of the world’s most challenging borders. 🥾

And when there was no legal route across the Caspian Sea, he even swam it. 🌊

Now, after nearly three decades, Karl has finally made it back to Britain. 🇬🇧

He reached the coast near Dover after swimming across the English Channel from France. 🏊‍♂️

But there’s still one final chapter.

He has roughly 250 miles left to walk across England to Hull, where his mother is waiting for him. ❤️

A journey that was expected to take around 12 years has stretched into 28.
