When a new client announces she thinks she might actually have curly hair since everyone else in her family does….we do indeed prove she is curly! We opted out of using products to see what the hair would do naturally. I can only imagine with a little coaxing how they will really do their thing!

Shout out to Day By Day plumbing for their service call today! Two incredibly polite young men were able to shorten some flexible drain tubing and speed up our slow draining shampoo bowl issue. Their price was fair, they worked with me on timing as to not disrupt salon business and couldn’t have been more professional. From one small business to another, Thank You!

Let's all give a big shoutout to the incomparable Jessica Eads who's somehow still putting up with us on her special day! She is the glue that holds Green Door Salon together, and without her, we'd be totally lost. Hopefully, her day is filled with Rocco snuggles and awesome times!

11 years ago today, I opened the doors of Green Door Hair Salon, and I honestly had no idea what an incredible journey it would become. 🌿

11 years. 132 months. 4,015 days of doing what I love.

To every single client who has sat in my chair — thank you. You are the reason I show up every day. You’ve trusted me with your hair, your stories, your big moments and your everyday ones, and that means everything to me.
