Let your breath move through your whole body. It may take a little while, but that’s okay. Just slow down for a moment and stay with your breath. Let it fill your lungs and heart space, and then let it go completely.
No one wants to stop and be still.
No one starts this journey in loving the practice of bringing awareness to the breath. We want to roll our eyes at it, say that it’s not for us and that we simply cannot slow down and focus on breath without thoughts taking over.
That is the practice.
You keep doing it. You feel silly but you commit anyways to carving out time in your day to simply sit, and be, and breathe.
It gets easier with time, but you have to commit to yourself and to the practice. The Skin Preserve is here to help.
