Temple of Life

In my discovery, I’ve realized that most of us were never taught how to be present in connection and love. Not really. We were taught to perform, to please, to protect ourselves, or shrink, depending on what kept us safe in the families and relationships that raised us. Presence wasn’t modeled, so it isn’t our normal. It’s something we have to come home to, and choose on purpose, until it becomes our new normal.

Presence is the doorway to everything we desire. When we’re actually here with ourselves, the divine wisdom and life we hold, in our bodies, we create the space to receive the love that exists in every moment, instead of reaching or trying to make something happen. We start to remember and experience love through presence and how worthy we are of it.

This includes, sharing breath, a loving gaze of acknowledgement , speaking loving words, the giving and receiving of conscious touch, being fully present in how we express love to our brothers and sisters, without making it mean that we want something from eachother… without attachment or agenda, simply witnessing and honoring the divine in one another and that we are all worthy. Because we are!

This is what “Connection, a Return to Innocence” is about. A space to slow down, to practice presence, to remember what it feels like to be safe with yourself and with others, without performance, without armor.

It’s an exploration of what it feels like to express the essence that moves through us, and equally, what it feels like to receive it in a way that honors you. Consent and boundaries will be honored throughout. This is a safe, intentional container, held in love.
When we meet each other from that place of presence, something shifts.

❤️Returning to Love, Returning to Roots❤️

There’s something about returning to the place you grew up that cracks you wide open!
I’ve been in it.
Being close to my family, my root system, again has stirred up roots I didn’t know were still tender. And now that I’m here, seeing it all fully... it’s so perfect. Even in the discomfort of feeling it all, seeing it all, facing it all, I’m here to meet it with an open heart and return to love ❤️deeper love for myself, and them.

Old patterns. Old wounds and expectations. Parts of me that have quietly contracted and withdrew for fear of judgment.

I’m here to acknowledge that fear: the fear of not being truly seen, accepted, or acknowledged for who I am and who I’ve become. It’s such an old story, and I’m sharing it to lay it to rest and move on. I know who I am, I know her very well… and that’s all that truly matters. It’s between me and God, and I’m so fulfilled in that. 🙏🏽

Each time I visit home is different because I am constantly expanding and evolving. This time, I’m completing a cycle. The self-love, relationship, and self-intimacy work I’ve been doing has given me so much foundation to stand on, an eternal HOME inside myself that doesn’t depend on anyone else’s acceptance or approval. From this place, I can feel the fear without being ruled by it.

So I’m choosing to revisit and rewrite the story once more. I’m releasing the expectations I’ve carried, the ones I placed on my family and the ones I imagined they placed on me. I’m choosing to fall MORE deeply in love with myself, my lifestyle, my choices, and all that I am, and to unconditionally LOVE family and my root system exactly as they are, not as I wished they’d be. I’m choosing to return to love over and over, because I love them all so f-ing much.

I’m choosing, again and again, to believe in love. To be in devotion to love. To see it even in the hard, tender, complicated places. Especially there❤️

And, lastly - I belong. Even here, in this place. And on this earth, at this time.
