Introducing... BRAZILIAN BEAUTY FORMULA 08/02/2026

I'm now certified in BRAZILIAN BEAUTY FORMULA

by Josie Rushing

Brazilian Beauty Formula is a specialized version of Lymphatic Drainage massage designed by Josie Rushing. This 2 hour session includes the face and body. It incorporates a specific sequence of movements that activate lymph nodes, pressure points, and neurolymphatic massage points. Bound tissue is released and space is created for better fluid movement. Excess fluid is then flushed to the lymph nodes to aid in detoxification and stimulate lymph drainage. Sculpting massage strokes follow to provide more structural definition.

Lymphatic Drainage Benefits:

Accelerates natual detoxification
Rejuvenates cellular function
Decreases excess fluid retention
Relieves stress
Balances the nervous system
Beneftis cell oxygenation
Contours the body

Lymphatic Drainage Interesting Facts:

The lymphatic system moves about 3 liters of fluid every day. When it slows, that fluid stays in your tissues- showing up as blowing, puffiness, and stubborn weight that isn't fat.

You can gain 5-10 lbs of water retention from poor lymph flow alone. It's fluid stagnation, not fat!

The lymph system has no pump like the heart. It depends on movement, breathing, hydration and manual stimulation. Sitting all day literally slows detox.

After surgery, lymph flow can drop up to 40-60% in the treated area, which is why swelling, fibrosis and uneven healing can happen without proper care.

Chronic stress tightens fascia and lymph vessels. High cortisol doesn't just affect mood- it slows detox and increases fluid retention.

Poor sleep reduces lymphatic drainage from the brain. People who sleep less than 6 hours often wake up with facial swelling and brain fog.

Dehydration thickens lymph fluid. Even mild dehydration makes the lymphatic system work harder and increases bloating.

Hormonal changes during PMS and menopause increase lymphatic congestion, which is why many women feel heavier or more swollen during those times.

The lymphatic system helps absorb dietary fats. When its sluggish, fat metabolism and digestion can feel slower.

Thigh bras, waist trainers, or restrictive clothing cna compress lymph vessels and worsen swelling in the chest abdomen and hips.

Scar tissue blocks lymph pathways. C-sections, liposuction, tummy tucks, and breast surgeries often require structured lymphatic care to prevent fibrosis.

The lymphatic system is part of the immune system. When lymph flow slows, you may experience more infections, acne flare-ups, or slow healing.

Gentle jumping on a trampoline for just 5 minutes cn increase lymph circulation more than walking.

Deep belly breathing is one of the strongest lymphatic pumps- because the diaphragm acts like a natural drain.

Many people feel calmer after lymphatic sessions because parasympathetic activation reduces cortisol levels.

Visable sculpting after a session happens because trapped fluid is moved out of tissues- not because of fat loss.

People with desk jobs are at higher risk of lymphatic stagnation than athletes.

Tight fascia from stress, trauma, or posture can. trp. fluid and change body shape.

Skin glow is directly related to lymph flow. Clearer skin often follows improved drainage.

Many people live with swollen. ankles, heavy legs, or bloated stomachs for years without realizing its lymphatic congestion.

I’m officially certified in Brazilian Beauty Formula by Josie Rushing! 🤍✨

This training was so much more than learning new techniques. It was an investment in my craft, my clients, and the kind of work I want to bring into my practice.

I’ve always believed that the body deserves more than a one-size-fits-all approach. This method combines lymphatic drainage, sculpting, fascia work, and intentional bodywork to support the body while creating beautiful, visible results.

Getting to learn directly from Josie Rushing — the Queen of Lymphatic 👑 — and being surrounded by so many talented practitioners was such a special experience.

I’m excited to take everything I learned and incorporate these techniques into my treatments here in Seattle.

New skills. Deeper knowledge. Elevated results. ✨

Thank you to everyone who continues to trust me with your body, your wellness, and your self-care. This is just the beginning. 🤎

The World Cup has arrived in Seattle! Personally, I think we have the perfect infrastructure for an event like this. Where else can you walk to the match while soaking in local culture, excellent food and killer views?

If you are headed to a match, here are my recommendations:

⭐️ Go super early
⭐️ Take the train
⭐️ Get off at Pioneer Square there are plenty of screens, beer gardens and activities.
⭐️ We grabbed a patio table at Occidental Hall across from the stadium. This was a great spot to meet up with our group as we could soak in the atmosphere, watch the game and keep an eye on the gates.
⭐️Aim to go to the gates 90 minutes before kickoff. It took about 20 minutes to get inside. Once inside there are a lot of souvenir installations. The lines were super long and popular items were selling out quickly. Get your gear ahead of time!
⭐️The match will start promptly at its designated time, you’ll want to be settled into your seats at least 15 minutes before kickoff.
⭐️After, walk along the waterfront to the viewing area on Pier 62. You can go up the steps to Pike Place Market for lunch.
⭐️Pacific Place is a great spot to watch and shop if you don’t have tickets.

Who are you cheering for? 🌎⚽️

FAQ: Do you accept health insurance?

I only bill PIP insurance for car accidents. For health insurance, I do not bill directly. Although, it is well worth a try for you to submit a Super Bill to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Many clients have been successful doing this. I’m happy to supply you with an itemized invoice/insurance billing form.

2026 STG Doors Gala at The Paramount Theater.

Giving back through my work, while helping others experience healing and care, is such a full-circle moment for me. Community support is huge in my book. Last year, services donated raised over $10,000 for local education programs. Grateful to be part of a community that values creativity, connection, and showing up for something bigger. 💫

Nile Rodgers is an icon! Did you know he was the genius behind ALL of these hits?!?! Also, J’nai Bridges is the Beyoncé of Opera. She is a STG scholarship recipient and currently starring in Carmen at The Seattle Opera.
