Lately, I’ve found myself realizing that I might not be getting enough recovery time.
My therapist keeps telling me that part of the problem is that I don’t have two consecutive days off. I have days off, but they’re scattered throughout the week, so I never really get a chance to fully disconnect and recover. And lately, I’m tired. Like, all the time.
So I’m strongly considering cutting my work schedule and removing Tuesday as a workday.
And this realization brings a little bit of panic with it. Because, of course, working less potentially means making less money. And in this economy… well, you know what that means. 😅
I feel very torn about it. On one hand, I clearly need more recovery time. On the other hand, voluntarily doing something that could stall my income—or even decrease it a little—is scary.

💋 Can permanent makeup make your lips look bigger?

Yes… but only to a certain extent. And the technique matters.

Some of my clients ask if I can make their lips appear fuller without fillers. In carefully selected cases, the answer is yes.

Sometimes I make a very subtle adjustment just beyond the natural lip border to improve balance, symmetry, or create the illusion of slightly fuller lips. The keyword is subtle. 🤍

You’ll never see me extending the pigment far beyond the natural lip line. While this trend has become more common, I don’t believe it creates the most beautiful long term results.

Here’s why.

✨ Over time, the pigment inside the lips naturally fades faster than the pigment on the surrounding skin. If the lip border has been extended too far, it can eventually leave an unnatural outline as the inner color fades.

My goal is always to create results that still look beautiful months and years later, not just on the day of the procedure.
