I love staying local to my home in Seattle, but I also travel for destinations.
This is just a small taste of what we did between San Francisco and Yosemite National Park.

Portraits and some details Iāve never shared from this day.
I loved all the attention to detail.
A venue totally indoors, with a few windows.
Many photographers would be scared of this. I loved it because it gave me total creative freedom over the light.

Hereās a breakdown of the itinerary:
Day 1: arrive and check out the city. Watch The Odyssey in true IMAX 70mm at one of the only 41 theaters in the world that plays it š
Day 2: City photos with bride and groom. Lombard street, palace of fine arts, Golden Gate Bridge
Day 3: Wedding day preshoot at the Palace Hotel and City Hall, ceremony and reception at The Green Room across the street from city hall.
Day 4: Editing and chill day. Get a workout in.
Day 5: Head to Yosemite with the bride and groom. Stay the night.
Day 6: Morning photos at Yosemite. Drive back to San Francisco
Day 7: Morning return flight.
Pro tip for traveling: you CAN do laundry while you are out. You donāt have to bring 6 days of clothes.

That quote stuck on me because it reminds me that success is not something I can wait around for
For me, it takes hard work, smart work, learning, risk, patience, self-trust, persistence, and consistency
Itās built in the quiet choices
The repeated effort
The willingness to keep going before I can see the other side
In his honor, and in honor of all the sherpas in Nepal, I want to work even harder
Success may look sudden from the outside
But most of the time, itās being built long before anyone sees it
And thatās exactly what Iām doing now, despite the challenges
Despite never knowing if it will actually happen for me
Iām going to keep working every day
