I bumped into a previous hairstylist today…not something I’m ever prepared for…not quite like an ex but it’s a similar feeling of rush…do I leave my groceries in the cart and hide or face the truth? She - acting all - it’s been awhile - looks like you’ve had your hair done? I answered, no, I got it fixed! It was enough to see the look on her face. Yes, I was that passive-aggressive NW I always complain about but I’m not sorry for turning an important corner for myself when it comes to expecting a job worth my $$ and time by facing the truth. The truth is that The Collective folks do a damn good job! I’ve had $450 haircuts / colors and beauty school fumbling students, and the final… final is skill, attitude, attention, genuine friendliness, and an collective effort! Thanks Collective!
