One of the greatest honors of my career was being invited to serve as a judge for Miss Arizona. And let me tell you—those judges have a HARD job.

What many people don’t realize is the amount of courage it takes to step onto that stage. To be seen. To be evaluated. To put yourself out there and show up as your fullest self in front of an audience and a panel of strangers.

Tonight, we had the privilege of attending preliminaries as sponsors, and I was reminded all over again just how impressive these women are.

They left it all on that stage.

The preparation. The discipline. The confidence. The grace.

Pageantry is about so much more than gowns and crowns. It’s about growth. It’s about courage. It’s about becoming the best version of yourself and having the confidence to share that person with the world.

No matter what happens this weekend, every contestant should be incredibly proud of herself.
