In 2001, Monkey Dooz opened its doors with one simple mission: make haircuts fun instead of frightening.

I wasn’t backed by investors. I wasn’t following a franchise blueprint. I was simply a mom who wanted to solve a problem for my son—and that idea became something much bigger.

What started as the first children’s salon of its kind in the county has grown into a nationally franchised brand that has welcomed hundreds of thousands of families over the past 25 years.
