After a permanent makeup tattoo treatment, it is completely normal to experience some mild redness, pinkness, or swelling around the treated area. Every client and every skin type is different, so some people may experience more than others.

Your skin has just been through a tattooing procedure, so this is simply part of your body’s natural healing response. As the numbing medication wears off and your skin begins to settle, the redness and swelling will gradually subside.

You may notice that your brows, eyeliner, or lips look a little more defined or intense immediately after your appointment. Don’t worry—this is not your final healed result! Your permanent makeup will soften and settle as your skin heals.

My goal is always to create beautiful, natural-looking results that enhance your features—not have you walking around looking like you just had a procedure! 😉

✨ A Fresh Start for Her Lash Line ✨

This beautiful client came to me after having a previous eyeliner tattoo done by another artist. Over time, her original tattoo had healed with a very cool, blue-toned appearance, while other areas had faded significantly or appeared to have little to no pigment retention.

Because I always look at the existing pigment and the way it has healed before creating a new design, I incorporated a neutralizing color into her new lash-enhancing eyeliner tattoo to help visually balance the cool blue tones and create a more flattering result.

She recently saw the beautiful eyeliner tattoo I had done for one of my longtime clients and loved the natural definition it created—so she decided it was time for her own refresh. ❤️

The goal with lash-enhancing eyeliner isn’t to create a heavy or dramatic line. It’s about subtly defining the lash line, creating the appearance of fuller-looking lashes, and enhancing your eyes in a way that complements your unique features.
