✨ Something New Is Taking Shape at Prima Fascia ✨

I’m excited to share a new direction I’ve been exploring for Prima Fascia Massage Therapy LLC!

Although my primary practice is outside of the Oshkosh/Appleton area, I find myself in that area frequently — and I’ve decided it’s time to start bringing Prima Fascia with me. 🤍

I’m looking for a temporary, flexible professional space where I can offer massage therapy periodically while I begin building a presence in the area.

This won’t be a full-time location or a traditional permanent expansion. Instead, I’m envisioning occasional massage days — allowing me to work with new clients, connect with other wellness professionals, and see where this opportunity leads.

I’m especially interested in connecting with established wellness practices, chiropractic offices, massage practices, salons, spas, or other professional spaces that may have a private treatment room available for occasional use.

And if you’re in the Oshkosh, Appleton, or surrounding area and have ever wanted to experience what I do at Prima Fascia, this may be your opportunity. 👐🏼

I’m really excited to see where this little venture takes us. Sometimes the best opportunities start with simply being willing to try something new.

If you know of a space, practitioner, or business that might be a good fit, please send them my way or tag them below!

Here’s to new spaces, new connections, and bringing the Prima Fascia approach to a few new communities. ✨

✨ Post-Surgery Lymphatic Massage Therapy ✨

Surgery places a heavy load on your lymphatic system. When lymph fluid can’t move properly, swelling, pressure, and discomfort linger — and healing slows.

Manual lymphatic drainage helps your body do what it’s trying to do naturally — recover.
Most clients say they feel relief sooner, move easier, and feel more like themselves faster when lymphatic care is started early.

⸻

🌿 Post-Surgical Lymphatic Care Package

✔ (6) one-hour sessions for $800
✔ Most clients need 1–2 sessions per week, especially in early recovery

⸻

🌿 Top 5 Benefits of Post-Surgical Lymphatic Massage

1️⃣ Reduces swelling & fluid buildup
Less pressure = more comfort and faster progress.

2️⃣ Supports quicker, smoother healing
Improved circulation helps tissues repair more efficiently.

3️⃣ Eases tightness, pressure & discomfort
Gentle work calms the nervous system and irritated tissues.

4️⃣ Helps prevent hardened or fibrotic tissue
Early lymphatic care can reduce lumpiness and stiffness.

5️⃣ Helps you feel better faster
Clients often report feeling lighter, less inflamed, and more comfortable after sessions.

⸻

🚨 Signs You May Benefit From Lymphatic Massage

✔ Persistent or increasing swelling
✔ A heavy, tight, or full feeling
✔ Hard or lumpy tissue forming
✔ Slow or uncomfortable healing
✔ Feeling “stuck” in recovery despite rest

These are common — and very treatable with proper lymphatic support.

🌿 “Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day” — and Neither Is True Healing 🌿

One of the most common things I hear from clients is, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
And they’re absolutely right.

The type of therapy I provide — Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Structural Integration, and advanced soft-tissue work — is designed to create deep, lasting change, not quick temporary fixes. Your fascia, muscles, and nervous system need time to unwind old patterns, release inflammation, and build new, healthier movement habits.

✨ Here’s the truth:
Healing isn’t linear.
Progress varies.
And every body responds at its own pace.

Some clients feel dramatic improvement in the first session.
Others experience steady, consistent change over several visits.
Both are normal. Both are valid.
Your results depend on many factors: inflammation levels, stress, movement patterns, past injuries, nervous system sensitivity, and your overall lifestyle load.

What matters most is this:
Every single session moves you forward.
Your body remembers, adapts, and integrates. Step by step, you build mobility, reduce pain, and reclaim balance — in a way that actually lasts.

Thank you to all of my clients who trust the process, listen to their bodies, and remind me daily that true healing takes time… and that it’s absolutely worth it.

If you’re ready to start that journey, I’m here. 🌱

Trigeminal Nerve: “The trigeminal nerve is the fifth and largest cranial nerve, responsible for providing sensation to the face and controlling chewing muscles. It has three main branches—the ophthalmic (V1), maxillary (V2), and mandibular (V3)—which transmit feelings like touch, pain, and temperature from different areas of the face and mouth to the brain.

❄️Branches and their functions❄️

✔️Ophthalmic nerve (V1): This branch provides sensation to the forehead, the eye, the upper eyelid, and the nose.

✔️Maxillary nerve (V2): This branch provides sensation for the middle of the face, including the cheek, upper teeth and gums, lower eyelid, and the side of the nose.

✔️Mandibular nerve (V3): This branch provides sensation to the lower part of the face, including the jaw, lower teeth and gums, and lower lip. It also contains motor fibers that control the muscles used for chewing.”

Your fascia might be the reason you’re still in pain.

Fascial restrictions can affect your entire body—pulling on joints, compressing nerves, and creating pain patterns that don’t show up on scans or respond to traditional treatment.

At Prima Fascia, I work with:
• Chronic pain and inflammation
• Old injuries that never fully healed
• Post-surgical restrictions and scar tissue
• Limited range of motion
• Nerve entrapments or “mystery pain”
• Headaches and body-wide tension

This isn’t your average massage. It’s targeted, restorative, and deeply rooted in how the body truly works.

If you feel like something’s been “off” in your body for a while… it could be your fascia.

This is interesting.. 🤔

From birth, your tongue is actually connected to your toes through an intricate network of connective tissue known as fascia.

If your tongue is not resting correctly in your mouth due to mouth breathing, things can get out of alignment in your mouth and the rest of your body.
Tongue posture can lead to a foot imbalance and vice versa because the tongue guides all myofascial continuity structures that run from the inner arch of the foot up through the middle of the body to the tongue and jaw muscles.

When the tongue sits on top of the palate, it seals the oral cavity and holds the throat open like a tent. These muscles support the neck, keep your posture straight, help you breathe, and maintain your posture upright.
Your tongue also acts as a rudder and support system through a fascial line, and when the tongue is down, we breathe through our mouth, and the head falls forward due to lack of support, which leads to poor posture and increased energy expenditure.
