Summer// Extension Install
• Did you know that you can color your hair with extensions without ever touching it with actual hair color?
• That’s what we did here today. Summer’s hair is gotten super long and healthy and she wasn’t prepared to touch it with color so instead we used all blonde extensions to bring in the blonde that she wanted.

☀️CONFIDENCE POST☀️
Hair extensions can boost your confidence for several reasons:
1. Enhanced Appearance: Hair extensions instantly add length, volume, and thickness to your hair. They can give you the desired hairstyle that you may not have been able to achieve with your natural hair alone. When you feel that you look good, it can significantly boost your self-esteem and confidence.
2. Versatility: Hair extensions offer a wide range of styling options. You can experiment with different hairstyles, textures, and colors without committing to permanent changes. This versatility allows you to express your personal style and feel more confident in your overall appearance.
3. Corrective Solution: For individuals with thinning hair, hair extensions can provide a corrective solution. They can help conceal areas of hair loss or thinning, giving the appearance of fuller, thicker hair. This can be particularly beneficial for those who may feel self-conscious about their hair's condition.
4. Instant Results: Hair extensions offer immediate results. You don't have to wait for your natural hair to grow out to achieve the desired length or volume. The instant transformation can have a positive impact on your confidence, allowing you to feel more self-assured and attractive.

I know y’all always hear me say I LOVE some golden tones on brunettes. Here’s why 😘⬇️
Gold tones, which usually have warm, yellow undertones, can create the illusion of brighter hair in a few ways:
1. Reflection of Light: Gold tones are reflective, meaning they bounce light off the hair strands. When light hits the hair, it reflects back, giving the appearance of shine and brightness. This effect can make the hair look more radiant and vibrant.
2. Contrast: Gold tones create a contrast with the natural or base color of the hair. This contrast can make the hair appear lighter and brighter. For example, if you have dark hair and add golden highlights, the contrast between the dark base color and the lighter gold tones creates the illusion of brightness.
3. Warmth: Gold tones are warm colors, and warm colors tend to create a sense of brightness. Warm hues like gold, copper, and honey can give the hair a vibrant and sunny appearance. They can also enhance the natural warmth of the skin tone, creating an overall bright and radiant look.

Who else is loving GOLDEN season?
• to go off my previous post from yesterday. Here’s some tips on how to keep your hair from getting dried out during the summer.
1. Protect your hair from the sun: Wear a hat or use hair care products that contain UV filters to shield your hair from the damaging effects of the sun.
2. Hydrate your hair: Use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners to help restore and retain moisture in your hair. Consider using leave-in conditioners or hair masks for added hydration.
3. Minimize heat styling: Reduce the use of heat-styling tools like hairdryers, straighteners, and curling irons, as they can further dry out your hair. If you must use them, apply a heat protectant spray to minimize damage.
4. Rinse hair after swimming: After swimming in a pool or the ocean, rinse your hair thoroughly with fresh water to remove chlorine or saltwater residue. Apply a deep-conditioning treatment afterward to replenish moisture.
5. Avoid over-washing: Try to limit washing your hair to every other day or a few times a week to prevent stripping away too much natural oil. Use dry shampoo between washes to manage oiliness.
6. Stay hydrated: A well-hydrated body can contribute to healthier hair. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to maintain overall hydration.

Why does your hair feel drier in the summer?
1. Sun Exposure: The sun’s rays can be harsh on your hair, especially if it’s exposed for long periods. The ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun can damage the hair cuticle, leading to dryness and making your hair more prone to breakage.
2. Heat and Humidity: Summer months are typically associated with higher temperatures and increased humidity. The combination of heat and humidity can cause your hair to lose moisture more quickly, leading to dryness. High humidity levels can also make your hair frizzy and difficult to manage.
3. Increased Washing: Many people tend to wash their hair more frequently during the summer due to sweating and outdoor activities. However, frequent washing can strip away the natural oils that keep your hair moisturized, resulting in dryness.
4. Chlorine and Saltwater: If you spend time swimming in pools or the ocean, your hair may come into contact with chlorine or saltwater. Both can be drying to the hair. Chlorine, commonly found in swimming pools, can strip away natural oils and leave your hair feeling dry and brittle. Saltwater, on the other hand, has a dehydrating effect on the hair, as it draws out moisture.
5. Air Conditioning: Indoor environments during the summer often have air conditioning, which can contribute to dry hair. Air conditioning removes moisture from the air, leading to drier conditions overall. Spending a significant amount of time in air-conditioned spaces can result in dryness and lack of moisture in your hair.
