This is probably my favorite wispy lash map, I just tweak it depending on what look I want to create.

The main thing that makes this look work is incorporating short lengths. Short extensions help you get 100% coverage and create a dark lash line.

The base length will make up the bulk of the set, and should be conservative in length.

Staggering the longest lengths across the top layer defines the shape while keeping it airy.

Skinny lash fan bases are the key to comfort. The slim shape means that they don’t feel stiff or heavy.

I like to make my own fans so that I can make them the appropriate size/weight for any lash. Since my handmade fans are only dipped once in adhesive, and I customize the size, they can be as skinny and light as they need to be.

When I’m working with smaller natural lashes I take extra care in minimizing weight, this preserves the health of the natural lash AND the neat appearance. Classic lash styles such as this require extra attention to the direction of placement because each fiber is visible and not obscured by other fans. Neat classic lashes also look fuller and are comfortable.

Because small natural lashes have less surface area it is important to maximize contact area with the right amount of adhesive. Matching smaller diameters to smaller natural lashes makes for a better bond and allows you to apply extensions to more tiny lashes. Coverage is especially important on blonde hair so that the lash line looks more complete.
