Cheryl, since attention seems to be what you’re looking for, congratulations—you got it. You can keep the person you were so determined to take from my mother. Just don’t confuse getting someone else’s problem with becoming the better woman.

You could never replace my mother, compete with her, or diminish who she is. She has strength, dignity, and a family that knows her worth. What happened didn’t break us—it showed us exactly who needed to be removed from our lives.

So enjoy your “prize.” If someone can be taken that easily, they were never worth keeping. My mother lost nothing worth having, and our family is better off without the lies, disrespect, and drama.

Some victories are really just consequences with a bow on top. 😘
