One of the reasons I started Starlet Lash Lounge was to provide a space for women to come in and take some much needed “me time”. With busy schedules and the hectics of day to day, life can feel a bit overwhelming.​​​​​​​​

The only way you get better is to practice what you've learned over and over. ​​​​​​​​

Ultimately your success will come from what you do outside of class and whether you've applied what you've learned or not.​​​​​​​​

When I first started learning volume extensions, I would take the time in between clients to practice. I would also allow 15 min during my clients appointment (ask them if its okay first, they will probably say yes!) to apply volume extensions then after the 15 min was up I would carry on with their classic fill. I would also take models. Doing this helped me get the handle of volume lashing quicker.​​​​​​​​

When you want just a little oomph with your lashes but don’t want to mess with mascara, the Classic set is your go to.​​​​​​​​

This client came in emphasizing she just wanted an enhancement as she had been scarred in the past by very bold lashes she wasn’t happy with.​​​​​​​​

Honestly when I met her, saw her style and learned more about her, I knew a bold look wasn’t going to be for her. ​​​​​​​​
Right away I knew .12’s with a sprinkle of 2D .10’s in the inner corner (to make up for the lack of natural lashes) was going to be a good fit, along with a transition from C-CC curl with a modified round shaping to give her eyes just the right amount of lift! ​​​​​​​​

Was she happy? I would say more than happy she was ecstatic! 😄​​​​​​​​
