We went soft + girly with the prettiest pink and tiny pops of colorful sparkle for her birthday trip. Simple from far away, but the little details make them SO good. ✨

I think this might officially be one of my top 3 sets I’ve ever done on myself. Every single detail was hand painted, and I honestly just let myself PLAY with this one. I didn’t go into it trying to make every nail match perfectly — I wanted each one to feel like its own little piece of art while still telling the same story across the whole set.

Lately, having so many new PLA colors in front of me has seriously been making me want to push myself creatively. Sometimes just seeing a color combination on my shelf sparks an idea, and then one idea turns into another… and suddenly I’m painting tiny ghosts, flowers, checkerboards, moons, stars, a black cat and entire little Halloween scenes on my nails. 😂🎨

And obviously with it being the beginning of October, I HAD to officially switch over to spooky season. 👻 I wanted Halloween, but still very *me* — a little vintage, a little artsy, lots of detail, and definitely not your typical Halloween set.

I’m genuinely so proud of how these came together. 🥹🖤 There are so many tiny details you couldn’t fully see in the transition video, so they needed their own photo dump.

Which nail would you pick as your favorite?! Because I genuinely cannot choose. 👻🌙🐈‍⬛🌼✨

PLA Nails 💅

Nail health will ALWAYS come first. 🤍
Maybe I was meant to care a little too much about nail health… because these are my natural nails, and trust me—they have never been the strong, perfect nails people dream about. 😂 They’re naturally thin, weak, and prone to breaking.
And that’s exactly why protecting the natural nail underneath every enhancement is so important to me.

The first photo is my natural nails immediately after removing my Pro-X set, after months of wearing builder gel before that. No “break” from enhancements. No months of recovery. Just careful application, proper maintenance, and most importantly—gentle, intentional removal.

Because enhancements themselves don’t have to destroy your nails. Over-filing, aggressive prep, improper removal, picking and peeling product off, and ignoring signs of lifting or damage are where we can get into trouble.

Whether you were born with strong nails, bendy nails, thin nails, brittle nails, or nails that seem to break if you look at them wrong 🙋🏼‍♀️—they deserve to be cared for.

And then we can go from those healthy little natural nails to…

Because healthy nails underneath and dramatic nails on top can absolutely coexist.

At The Nail Garden, my goal isn’t just for your nails to look beautiful when you leave my chair. I want the nails underneath to be treated with just as much care.
