The closer you look, the more there is to see. I’ve seen ʻōhiʻa lehua countless times, but I had never looked closely enough to notice the stages in between. The fuzzy buds The first curls of red Then the explosion of lehua most of us recognize. A whole world hidden inside a flower I’ve walked past my entire life. Yellow Rock Rose flowers (copyright @ Healing Herbs ) are what Dr Bach used for making his flower essence however our American editor for “Floral Acupuncture” had to be corrected when she thought the flowers were pink- as they often are in North America ( like the ones here on the right- growing in Sonoma County- here outside our door photographed days ago.)
