"When, how, what sunscreen should I use"

In a world where skincare advice often takes a one-sided view of sun exposure, I embrace a thoughtful, comprehensive perspective to sun protection.
Sunshine isn’t something to fear—it’s a vital force that provides essential vitamin D, boosts our mood, and supports our overall well-being.
However, like many good things in life, moderation and protection are key.
Let’s explore how to embrace the sun’s benefits while safeguarding your skin with effective protection.

Did you know.....
UVA RAYS: Aging rays have a longer wavelength, which penetrates the deeper layers of the skin and causes premature aging. UVA rays can cause skin laxity (lack of firmness), collagen reduction (plumpness), and produce sunspots years after exposure.

UVB RAYS: Burning rays have a shorter wavelength and affect the top layers of the skin. UVB rays are responsible for the sunburn you experience after exposure and can cause different types of skin cancer over time.

I have a few sunscreen options for you available in the spa.
-> Tropical Topical Matte SPF 30 will leave your skin feeling shine-free, an excellent option for those who are breakout prone. It hydrates without heaviness or greasiness, creating a smooth, comfortable feel on the skin. This formula works beautifully for everyday use and is especially beneficial for hot, humid days when shine control is a priority.

-> Quench and Protect SPF 30 has vitamin B5, which is known to repair the skin barrier, a no-brainer for sensitive or dry skin!
