Some of you may already be aware, but Andrew will not be returning to Hangtown Barbershop after his leave of absence.

With a long history of severe back issues and a need to focus on his family at this time, Andrew has made the difficult decision not to return.

Those of you who know Andrew understand what a difficult decision this was for him and as his friend I respect his choice.

Trying to replace Andrew will be a difficult endeavor. His years of experience and exceptional skills in all areas of barbering will be hard to replace.

It would also be a great disservice to our customers to replace Andrew with anyone other than a licensed barber that has a similar skill set or a strong will to become the proficient barber he is. Doing so would go against why we opened Hangtown, which is to provide quality cuts to a diverse clientele while staying true to the roots of barbering passed down to us by seasoned barbers.

We have and will continue to use our network of barbers, shop owners, barber schools, and word of mouth to try to get someone in as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience at this time of transition!

Help wanted!!!

Looking for an Idaho Licensed Barber who is interested in a chair rental position here at Hangtown Barbershop. Must be a licensed Barber, comfortable with all methods of cutting hair, hot towel straight razor neck shaves, and straight razor face shaves. Consistent schedule and great customer service a must.

Flexibility to sell your own product, utilize your own booking system, and manage your clients your way as long as customer service and quality of work is a priority.

Willing to work with newly licensed barbers with a drive to learn and strong work ethic.

Congrats to Andrew and Emily on their baby girl Sofia!!!
