“Habang may buhay, may pag asa”

An old Filipino proverb translating to “While there is life, there is hope.” Been sitting on getting this tattoo for a while now as it represents everything I stand for and my story. Resilience and fighting through adversity. Why’d I do this 10k race? Im no runner. I havent ran a mile since high school. This was really just a way to remind myself of how grateful I am to finally move my body in ways I missed without feeling any physical pain with my skin. Due to my holistic approach to healing my eczema, I wasnt able to walk or work the first couple months of this year. But luckily things got better in October. Each month prior to that was me constantly trying to find answers to improve my condition. I realize now, after all the years of relying on medication to get by, that I stayed hopeful and never quit. I can finally live a life again without relying on anything to help me get through. It was fun to see the progress and see how far I can take my mind and body the past couple months. Thanks to .tattoos for this amazing piece. I love it bro! You killed it! Shoutout my guys and for pushing me throughout the race. Also shoutout for prepping me for this!

Life has a funny way of humbling you sometimes. Just know, the storm ends at some point. Keep staying hopeful, keep staying positive and keep pushing forward. Your future self is gon thank you one day and you might inspire someone who’s keeping up with your story 🏅
