Two years ago I was just over a week out from egg retrieval, port placement and my first chemotherapy treatment. It seems distant, but not that long ago. can be hopeful for many, but a harsh reminder for survivors, thrivers and those newly diagnosed. For all those in the midst of treatment, my heart aches for you and the struggles you are enduring, but want you to know you CAN do it!!! To my fellow survivors I feel you. I feel your happiness for life, but sadness for parts of you that you have lost. I feel your scanxiety, trauma and fears of recurrence. To those thrown into early menopause I feel those hot flashes…all day every day. Thankfully this year marks my two years since diagnosis and that brings on some new changes. I go from 3 month to 6 month follow ups with my oncologist, I get to remove my port and I can stop my parp inhibitor. I wish world cancer day wasn’t a thing, but glad I have met some of the most incredible people in this awful club (that none of us wanted to join).

Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, etc.) all work to help decrease wrinkles and lines caused by muscle movement. They are injected into the muscles to stop or restrict the movement causing those lines to etch into our skin.
